  Not at all. In fact, the iGuardStove was designed as an aftermarket product that will work with almost any new or existing stove.

• Will the iGuard affect the performance of my stove?

  Not at all. We simply turn the power on or off when no one is in proximity to the stove. The iGuardStove does affect your stove’s temperature or cooking performance in any way.
