How hard is the iGuard to install?
Plug-in Model:
The electric plug in model does not require an electrician. Any handyman can do the job in about 15 minutes. Everything plugs together and the control panel mounts with 2 screws.
Gas Model:
For a safe installation of the iGuard gas model we recommend it be installed by a certified plumber or gas line fitter. Check out the Installation videos under our Resources Menu for step-by-step details.
Cooktop Model:
The model for cooktops will require an electrician to install it properly.
App:
You will have to download the iGuard App to your phone and then it will guide you through the setup.
