  NO! All our device does is the same thing as a power switch. It simply turns the power on or off. The technology behind it is more complicated than that, but we can’t divulge all our trade secrets!

• Will the iGuard affect the performance of my stove?

  Not at all. We simply turn the power on or off when no one is in proximity to the stove. The iGuardStove does affect your stove’s temperature or cooking performance in any way.

• When the iGuard shuts off the stove will my clock need to be re-set?
