1. Pull the stove away from the wall and unplug stove from wall outlet.
2. Plug the iGuard power box into the wall outlet and you should see a blue light inside the box confirming power.
3. Plug the stove cord into the iGuard power box. (3-wire requires a ground wire from the EPB lug to the closest metal water pipe.)
4. Connect one end of the network cable into the iGuard power box and connect the other end of the network cable into the back of the iGuard control panel.
5. While connecting the Power Box you should see LED colors inside the metal enclosure:
• Amber – Power Box is powered but isn’t communicating with the Control Panel
• Green – Confirms the Control Panel is connected and the iGuard Stove is fully operational
• Blue – The iGuard has automatically shut off the stove and is in standby
NOTE: Unplugging the cable between the control panel and power box will engage the tamperproof feature which will cause the power box to shut off after about 10 seconds.
6. Make sure the iGuard power box and cables are out of the way and against the back wall. Slide the stove back into place. You might find it easier to remove the stoves lower drawer to guide the cables.
7. The iGuard has the ability to turn off the stove without killing power to the clock. But each stove is different as to how this is accomplished. The Phase Setting may have to be changed from Phase A to Phase B or Both depending on the brand of stove you use. (See image #4 on the Specification s on page #3)
8. The installation of your iGuard is complete! You can now move to the app to start the set-up portion of your iGuard
